Principal's Message

To Our Cherished Families,

It has been a great honor serving as your principal this year and I am saddened by the thought of not returning. I want you all to know that I feel a deep sense of pride and connection in your community.

In this last month of school, I look forward to celebrating the strength and diversity of this community with all of you. Our Asian American Family Night on Thursday, May 9 will be a fun-filled evening of cultural cuisine, music, art, and history. Then our 4th and 5th grade Music performance on Wednesday, May 15th will be sure to dazzle! We also have Open House on Thursday, May 23rd and finally, our Soaring Up celebration on June 7th, the last day of school! I hope you will join us for one or all of these fun events, so we can this opportunity to connect.

I am excited to share that the district has hired a new principal who will be approved by the School Board on May 14th. A press release announcing who that person is will follow.

For now I will wrap it up with these simple words: We Are One.

With love and gratitude to you all,
Kevin Baker
